To start our month long adventure in a campervan, we first had to go pick up the campervan in Dresden Germany. This was a warm and stormy 2 hour train ride, lunch, bus and then walk to the to the Roadsurfer site to pick up Oscar, our Campervan. Then there was the 2 hours back to Prague to get used to driving Oscar and to pack him up.

Ben and I on the train to Dresden.

I was so excited to start this journey for multiple reasons, like being free to drive where we want, I love driving, and seeing some more countryside of Europe and meeting new people. Ben was excited too, but apprehensive about how working on-line will work on the road. The picture above shows him sitting behind me as I will be do 90% of the driving, while he works at the table.

The next post will be our first day fully loaded and on the road to Austria.
